2022 4th of July Events
The 4th of July is just around the corner! We have vacation rental properties in the Mountain View, Calico Rock, and Heber Springs areas so we’ve created a list of the 4th of July events + firework shows to make planning easy for our guests. Everyone puts on amazing celebrations, but these are our staff favorites and probably where you’ll find us! 
Mountain View, Arkansas // Big Flat, Arkansas
Red, White, & Bluegrass – Fri, Sat, Sun @ 7pm each night
Three nights of bluegrass at the Stone Co Courthouse in Mountain View, Arkansas! Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights at 7pm.
Jack’s + JoJo’s Fireworks on the River – Saturday, July 2nd at 10pm
Fireworks will begin at approximately 10pm, after their JoJo’s Catfish Wharf restaurant closes. Find Jack’s Resort here.
Big Flat, Arkansas Fireworks Show – Sunday, July 3rd at Dark
We love this show, hasn’t happened for a couple years but now they’re back in business! Show starts at dark at the City Park/walking track.
Fifty-Six, Arkansas Fireworks Show – Sunday, July 3rd at Dark
This show will be at the Fifty-Six City Park, always a good show! This is especially great if you’re staying at our Fifty-Six Cabin, literally will be 3 seconds from your house. Might could just watch from the porch!
Mountain View, Arkansas Parade + Fireworks Show – Monday, July 4th from 10am – dark
On the historic Mountain View, Arkansas square – free hot dogs and watermelon after the parade, live music at 6PM. Fireworks at the baseball field at dark!
Calico Rock, Arkansas // Norfork Lake
Calico Rock Celebrations + Fireworks – Sunday, July 3rd from 3pm – Dark
Will be held at the Earl King park in Calico Rock, Arkansas. Waterslides, duck races, dog pageant, pie bake off, BBQ cook off, and a tribute to our veterans! Fireworks show at dark! For more info call 870-297-6100.
Buckin’ on the Rock – Sunday, July 3rd at 6:30pm
First ever bull riding in Calico Rock, Arkansas! Calf scramble for the kids, concessions, and fireworks to follow! Admission is $10 for adults, kids 6 and under are free. Contact Trey Lewis at 870-421-1982 for more info.
Lake Norfork Fireworks – Sunday, July 3rd at Dark
Fireworks are sent off from the 101 & 62 Bridges over Lake Norfork near the Lake Norfork Marina. Accompanying music is broadcast on 99.7. Click here for map pin.
Heber Springs, Arkansas // Pangburn, Arkansas
Freedom Fest Trap Shooting – Friday, July 1st from 9am – 4pm
201 Hwy 25, Heber Springs, AR. The Heber Springs, Arkansas Chamber’s trap shooting competition offers prizes for all registered competitors. Contact Jim Bly at 501-270-2511 for more info.
Cardboard Boat Races + Fireworks – Saturday, July 2nd from 10am – 10pm
All day event at Sandy Beach with races starting at 10am. Fireworks will be at Dam Site Park. Vendors, concessions…always a great time but arrive early to get a good parking/sitting spot. Some on our staff have been attending this event since diapers 🙂
Pangburn, Arkansas Fireworks and 4th of July Celebrations – Monday, July 4th from 9am – 10pm
The day starts with the famed outhouse race, free BBQ dinner, bands all afternoon, ends with a massive firework display at 9pm – best fireworks show in White County (in my opinion)!
