2024 4th of July Events
The 4th of July is just around the corner! We have vacation rental properties in the Mountain View, Calico Rock, and Heber Springs areas so we’ve created a list of the 4th of July events + firework shows to make planning easy for our guests. Everyone puts on amazing celebrations, but these are our staff favorites and probably where you’ll find us! 
Mountain View, Arkansas
Mountain View Fireworks and 4th of July Celebrations – July 4th
The day starts with 10am parade, 11am free hotdogs and watermelon. Fireworks at the ballpark at dark. Find more information here: https://www.facebook.com/MountainViewAreaChamberofCommerce
Jack’s + JoJo’s Fireworks on the River – Saturday, June 29 at 10pm
Fireworks will begin at approximately 10pm, after their JoJo’s Catfish Wharf restaurant closes. Find Jack’s Resort here. Here is the information from their facebook page:

Fifty-Six, Arkansas Fireworks Show – Sunday, July 6th at Dark
This show will be at the Fifty-Six City Park, always a good show! This is especially great if you’re staying at our Blanchard Cabin in the Woods, literally will be 5 minutes from your house.
Heber Springs, Arkansas
Freedom Fest on the Lake – Friday, July 5th – 6th
Freedom Fest Glow Run 5K Friday night, at Sandy Beach; Race begins at 8:15 pm. To register for the 5K go to: https://raceroster.com/events/2024/87409/freedom-fest-glow-run-5k
On Saturday night, the 2024 Fireworks Extravaganza will be held at Sandy Beach on Saturday, July 6th, on the shores of Greers Ferry Lake. Gates open at 10 a.m. for a fun filled day on the beach before the festivities begin. Partygoers will arrive by boat and by car to enjoy food vendors opening by noon, and live music beginning at 7:00 p.m.
At 9:30 p.m., one of the largest fireworks displays in Arkansas will light the skies above the lake, as thousands of breathtaking fireworks are choreographed to music that is broadcast on 101.9 the Lake-KSUG.
Vendors, concessions…always a great time but arrive early to get a good parking/sitting spot. Some on our staff have been attending this event since diapers 🙂
Pangburn, Arkansas Fireworks and 4th of July Celebrations – July 4th
The day starts with the famed outhouse race, free BBQ dinner, bands all afternoon, ends with a massive firework display at 9pm – best fireworks show in White County (in my opinion)!
Fairfield Bay, Arkansas Fireworks – Friday, July 5th
Come and celebrate the USA’s birthday with us at the Fairfield Bay Marina! We have lots of fun in store for you and your family, starting off with an Independence Day Parade at 9am.
